Dorothy is a seasoned veteran of nursing management and an expert on nursing accreditation, applications for accreditation, and the management of nursing education organizations. She will work with our clients either on nursing accreditation applications by the ANCC directly or through state nursing associations, or as a part of a unified self study team on ACCME/ANCC/ACPE accreditations.
Dorothy is Director of Special Initiatives and an Assistant Professor at the University of Medicine and Dentistry of New Jersey. In that capacity, she is responsible for UMDNJ's nursing accreditation at the Center for Continuing and Outreach Education. She is a member of the New Jersey State Nurses Association, and a member of their Accreditation Review Team. Additionally, Dorothy serves as Project Director for a large multisite study across the nation named TRIAD: Translating Research Into Action for Diabetes. She has lectured extensively, both in diabetes and the accreditation processes for CME and ANCC.
