 Policy and Procedure Manuals and Training
CME provider's policy and procedure manual contains the standard processes that the organization follows to carry-out its mission. Consolidating policies and procedures into a manual makes them available to co-workers, joint sponsors, CME committee and other stakeholders of the CME Program.
SP&A develops key policies in the following areas:
* Content validation
* Commercial support and Disclosure
* Enduring materials
* Joint sponsorship
* RSC's
* Internet CME
For each policy there is usually a corresponding procedure or operational format that supports the policy.
A well organized policy and procedures manual is evidence of systematic processes for the ACCME. It is a way to demonstrate that you consistently perform functions that serve to demonstrate compliance with the Essential Areas and policies of the ACCME.
